Miguel Ulloa

A dominican painter

He was born in Altamira, Puerto Palta in the year 1964. He got into fine arts in the year 1984, inspired by his brother, from whom he acquired his sober personality about expressing his work. In the year 1988 he had his first exhibition in the lobby of Hotel Embajador. In the same year he was presented in a collective in the Theater House in Santo Domingo, along with Carlos Goico among others. In the year 1989 he presented his second solo show in the Las Vegas nightclub in Santo Domingo. In 1992 he brought his works to the city of Panama.

From 1994 to 1998 his works were on display at the great Art Fair of San Juan Puerto Rico. In the year 1999 he participated in the United Artist Collective for Culture in the Consistorial Palace, Santo Domingo. In this same year he exhibited his work in the Toledo Gallery in Venezuela City.
